Skin Boosters
Skin boosters are injectable treatments that deeply hydrate the skin, improve elasticity, and restore a natural glow. At Tanuva Aesthetics, all treatments are carried out by a fully qualified doctor to ensure your comfort and safety. Following the correct before and after care helps you achieve the best results.
Before Your Treatment
Avoid alcohol, aspirin, ibuprofen, and blood-thinning supplements (vitamin E, fish oil, ginkgo, etc.) for 24–48 hours before treatment to reduce bruising risk.
Postpone if unwell or if you have an active skin infection, cold sore, or irritation in the treatment area.
Avoid dental work, facials, peels, or laser treatments for at least 2 weeks prior.
Arrive with clean skin – no makeup, creams, or oils on the treatment area.
Inform your doctor of any medical conditions, medications, or recent treatments.
After Your Treatment
Mild swelling, redness, or small bumps at the injection points are normal and usually settle within 24–72 hours.
Do not touch, rub, or massage the treated area for at least 24 hours (unless advised by your doctor).
Avoid makeup for 12 hours and skip skincare with retinol, acids, or harsh actives for 3–5 days.
Avoid strenuous exercise, heat exposure, saunas, and alcohol for 24–48 hours.
Protect your skin with SPF 30+ daily, as UV can break down hyaluronic acid faster.
Stay hydrated – drinking plenty of water helps maximise results.
Important Notes
A course of 2–3 sessions is often recommended, spaced 2–4 weeks apart, for optimal results.
Results improve gradually, with smoother, more radiant skin developing over several weeks.
Maintenance treatments are usually advised every 6–9 months.
